Ambon, Ambon City

Ambon City
Ambon City is a city and at the same time the provincial capital of Maluku, Indonesia.

The city is also known as Manise Ambon, is the largest town in the Maluku islands. Today, the city of Ambon became the center of the port, tourism and education in the province of Maluku.
History of Ambon City

Ambon city began to grow ever since the arrival of Portuguese in the year 1513, then around the year 1575, the Portuguese authorities to mobilize people around him to build a fortress city or Ferangi Laha that time named Nossa Senhora de Anuneiada in plain Honipopu. Climate

Climate in Ambon City is a tropical marine climate and climate of the season, Because the location of the island of Ambon is surrounded by the sea. Therefore the climate here is strongly influenced by the ocean and coincides with the climatic seasons, summer and winter North West or East or Southeast. Change of seasons is always punctuated by a transition season, the which is the transition from the second season. Generally Lasts West season from December to March, while in April is a transition period to the East and East monsoon season from May to October Lasts, followed by a period of transition in November the which is the transition to the West season.

Tribe
